“Each person must draw his own map.”
We all have a duty to ourselves to walk on our own road, draw our own map and get to where we need to go. That's not to say that we cannot learn from watching where other people put their feet on the road, or learn how to draw a map, from a master, but ultimately we will be held accountable for the journey at the end of the day. We cannot abdicate or shirk our responsibility by following in someone else's footsteps.
