SEX PEST MASHABANE BACK IN OFFICE

This is disgusting! What kind of message is the ANC trying to send out? The old addage of 'actions speak louder than words' is currently shouting from the hill tops here!

First there is the whole Zuma debacle, with the alledged rape and his stupid shower! Now we have this twit, who clearly is not only an offender, but quite literally a repeat offender and we have members of the government, standing behind him and re-instating him.

Good God man - this guy should be in jail and the key should be thrown away!

The words that come out of Mbeki's mouth are how women should be treated with respect, they should be given equality and they should be recognised for their participation in the struggle. Those are just words! The actions of the ANC, including Mbeki is - well it's ok to rape and sexually harrass women. In fact, we will elevate them to greater heights and greater power to make it even easier for them to perform rape and sexual harrassment!
If there was some sort of legal action that could be taken against the people who put them back into power, I for one would love to hear about it!

Sex-pest Norman Mashabane has been appointed as a member of the Limpopo provincial legislature, the Sowetan reported on Wednesday. After being found guilty of sexual harassment, Mashabane lost his post as the South African ambassador to Indonesia, and later quit as adviser to Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto. Mashabane was found guilty by the department of foreign affairs of 21 counts of sexual harassment in 2001, while he was South Africa's ambassador to Indonesia. Foreign Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma reinstated him pending the outcome of an appeal. In June 2003, another charge was laid against him and he was found guilty.Dlamini-Zuma stood by him and upheld his appeal.

In December, Dlamini-Zuma's decision was challenged in the Pretoria High Court and overturned. She was ordered to apologise to Mashabane's victim and pay her legal costs. Mashabane was at the time working as special adviser to Moloto. Mike Holford, Democratic Alliance (DA) leader in Limpopo, said: "It makes you question what kind of moral intelligence the ANC applies to members of Parliament," the newspaper reported. Mashabane is to replace Rob Tooley, who has been appointed head of the provincial treasury, with effect from March 1. - Sapa
